Washington DC Photographer - We're Watching the Sky

I had the opportunity the other evening to photograph a local band named "We're Watching the Sky" for some promo photos they needed. They were a fun group to work with and we were able to get some really great shots for them. Here's a few of my favorites from the evening, including one inside what I believe to be a discarded industrial sized air recycler that one of the members of the band found at a nearby parking lot...don't ask me what it was doing there, but it was pretty cool to shoot in if you ask me!

Washington DC Wedding Photographer - Shelly + Bobby

Congratulations to both Shelly and Bobby who got married on a beautiful sunny afternoon.  They were such a great couple to work with and I had two very talented photographers, Mario Brathwaite and Scott Henderson, there to help me document the day. Good luck you two!

Commercial/Event Photographer - Softel + Air France/KLM

The Sofitel in DC had a great event for Air France & KLM the other week and I figured I'd share some of the images. Air France was showing off some of the new amenities they'll have in their 1st Class and Business Class area of their new fleet to some of their top clients and shareholders. This event was stocked with top shelf drinks, caviar and liquid nitrogen (yeah I said LIQUID NITROGEN!, the Sofitel's chef dipped mint leaves in a yogurt souce and then dropped it into a bowl of sub-zero nitrogen to flash freeze it, making a truly unique frozen treat! In addition they had two ballerinas from the Washington Ballet to show off how flexible the new seating was for their clients.

That's NOT steam, is sublimating liquid nitrogen!

Showing off some of the amenities of the changes to the Air France premium lounges coming to airports around the world

Wedding Photographer - Bethesda - Azadeh + Farzad

My friend Moshe asked me to help him cover an awesome Persian wedding with him the other day, complete with belly dancers swords and tourists! This couple was so cool to work with and would literally do anything we asked of them, including cutting their cake with a katana! Yes, we kind of asked as a joke, but they were down for it! It's always great when you are able to have complete creative control, that's really when you can get some really unique photos. We also took them to downtown Chevy Chase to get some sweet group photos of their entire (huge) wedding party, this really drew a crowd, including a large group of tourists and passerby's who joined in on the shoot!
