Maryland Wedding Photographer - Katie + Jeff

Katie and Jeff had a beautiful wedding last weekend at the Woodend Sanctuary in Chevy Chase Maryand, which is one of my favorite outdoor venues. Moshe Zusman and I lucked out, missing rain at every turn (the first drop hit as we were leaving the Jefferson Memorial and stopped before the ceremony). They had some of the most touching vows, with both of them tearing up as they read in front of their wonderful friends and family. It was such a special event for their family also, because Katie and Jeff will be leaving for Kenya soon to begin their new lives together (what a cool place to live, right?)! The newlyweds also suprised their guests with some serious moves for their first dance (I think they should audition for dancing with the stars!) and DJ D-Mac kept the party going all night long.

Northern Virginia Wedding Photographer - Michael + Lisa

I was lucky enough to be one of FOUR people present for Mike and Lisa's wedding, (and that number includes them as well)! They got married in front of the historic Leesburg Courthouse on a beautiful Friday morning, with quite a few passerbys wishing them well. The two newlyweds, who have been together since highschool were grinning from ear to ear all morning as they said their 'I do's'. I really love small weddings, they're so much more personal and intimate. Big weddings are nice too, but some of my favorite wedding I've ever shot are of the smaller variety (under 80 people). Mike and Lisa also surprised me after they tied the knot by telling me they had a vintage car to take some of the photos with, which made for some of my favorite photos of the day.

Austin TX Wedding Photographer - Kate + Steve

Moshe Zusman and I shot such unique wedding down in the beautiful Austin Texas. I've only been to Austin twice now (both for weddings, and surprisingly both were at the Barton Creek Resort). Kate and Steve's family threw an amazing pre-wedding party the night before where Steve got up on stage and jammed with the band for a bit before singing to his soon-to-be bride with his groomsmen as his vocal backup. The day of the wedding, we couldn't have asked for more beautiful weather as Moshe and I hit up a couple hot spots in Austin to get some great images of the bridal party before we all headed to One World Theater, which was probably the most stunning wedding venue I've ever had the privilege to shoot at. Everything about this wedding was so special and unique, from the great details of the wedding decorations to Kate's sparkling smile as she walked down the aisle to the Mardis Gras themed reception! It was a blast from start to finish!
